John Souki was raised in a household of music lovers. His parents got him into rock and metal from an early on age. His dad played guitar and taught him his first 3 chords on his nylon-string when he was just 8. When he was 14 he and his family moved to the US from Venezuela, and was at that time when he started taking guitar more seriously. He briefly attended Berklee right out of high school and started touring with local bands and doing studio work, later joining Chase Rice in 2015.
